Location is prime...
"If you are in the Military coming in to Fort Hunter Liggett, or just coming to the area as a civilian or family on vacation, this is the place to go. Location is prime, the hotel has great rooms, and the gym, pool, Jacuzzi and free breakfast is a plus. The staff goes out of their way to insure that your stay is pleasurable.
The town is very pretty and just off the major highway (but not too close). There are plenty of places to eat, and the hotel is close to wineries and a short drive to the ocean. Major stores are also close by, so if you need a WALMART or TARGET.... Thumbs up to this Paso Robles hotel whose owners and staff appreciate the United States Military."

Best and most well run Holiday Inn...
"I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Paso Robles, CA. This by far was the best and most well run Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. I stay at Holiday Inns all over the country. The staff at this Holiday Inn Express always went above and beyond the call of duty. With the hotel being booked due to local event, they were always there with a friendly hello, how are you doing.
With the little problems like internet going down in one of the buildings, they were always there with "let me get the people on the phone and find out the problem" They made their guests actually feel like a part of a family and not just another face. Please pass on my THANK YOU to a job well done and that they should be the standard and not just the rarity." Outstanding job and thanks.

The place was very clean...
"I travel quite frequently and typically stay at another hotel chain, but this hotel one was recommended by a colleague. I happened to stay in their new wing. I can say the place was very clean and had the standards of a 4-5 star hotel. The beds are very comfortable and I had the best night's sleep in a long time.
The staff was very friendly when we arrived and told us all about the Paso Robles area. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning, which was more than enough. It was very cold during our stay so the indoor pool was very great to use. I will recommend this place to everyone I know who might come to the area."

We really loved this hotel...
"We really loved this hotel in the Paso Robles Wine Country! We had a lovely room with a jacuzzi bath in the corner of the room and extras such as free HBO movie channel, and high-speed internet. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was wonderful, in terms of quantity and variety of items. The pool and spa area were great and convenient. The hotel is one of the few of its type to provide additional towels for swimmers, which was a nice touch. The hotel was about 30-40 minutes drive from Hearst Castle, which was our reason for staying here and I cannot recommend it highly enough."

Our family really loved the Holiday Inn Express in Paso Robles...
"Our family really loved the Holiday Inn Express in Paso Robles. They have a lot of extras that we didn't expect such as the refrigerators and microwaves in the room. That was perfect as we have children. We all loved the free breakfast in the morning and the kids really enjoyed the indoor heated pool and spa.
When we got back in the evening we were pleasantly surprised the hotel was serving fresh baked cookies. This hotel was very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want to head over to the coast it is only a short distance. When we visit Hearst Castle next year, we'll definitely return to this hotel."
