Breast Cancer Awareness Month

About 8 year(s) ago by HIX Paso Robles
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Established in 1985, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international health campaign that brings more than 15 different major charities and medical groups - including the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the National Cancer Institute, AstraZeneca Healthcare Foundation, and CancerCare - together with the larger community in order to support those affected by breast cancer and raise funds for breast cancer research that leads to improved prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and an eventual cure.
Many in the business community sponsor special events, walk-a-thons and other fundraising activities to benefit National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and encourage awareness and education during the month of October and throughout the entire year.
In observation of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Holiday Inn Express Paso Robles will be donating 10% of all proceeds booked through our specials promotion rate to the NBCF.
