Plan an Unforgettable Labor Day in Paso Robles
The unofficial last weekend of summer is upon us – but that’s doesn't mean the vacation ends here. In fact, it’s only getting started, with the heart of Central Coast harvest unfolding in every direction. To celebrate the turning of the seasons, Paso Robles Labor Day events run the gamut of affairs – from a Classic Car Weekend in the heart of town, to a Pajama Party Movie Night, wine tasting BBQs, and live music everywhere you turn. A few of these holiday highlights include:
Paso Robles Classic Car Weekend
September 4th & 5th
Spring Street / City Park
Start the weekend with a Friday night cruise, as over 300 vintage rides hit Spring Street, 6-8pm. Expect everything from pristinely preserved originals to rebuilt hot rods, all at the top of their class. Think of it as an auto art show and museum on wheels. If you would rather peruse the cars at your leisure, the Golden State Classic Car Show is in Downtown City Park on Saturday, 9am-4pm.
Derby Wine Estates Friday Night Music Series
September 4th, 5:30-9pm
525 Riverside Avenue
The popular weekly concert series celebrates its Labor Day Finale with a live show from The Driftwood Brothers, award-winning wine, & BBQ from their very own Derby Smokehouse.
Pajama Party Movie Night
September 6th, 7pm
1100 Pine Street
Dress in your bedtime’s finest and head to Park Cinemas for a PJ Contest and special screening of The Birdcage. Admission is just $10, which includes popcorn and a fountain drink.
