Get into the holiday spirit this weekend as downtown Paso Robles merchants kick off the season with Christmas-themed storefronts and plenty of merchandise, treats and entertainment to go around. The annual tradition begins this Saturday, Nov. 9 at 5:00 p.m. and lasts until the stores close at 8:00 p.m., at which points locals and out-of-towners can gather at the Paso Robles Inn to enjoy the Gala Paderewski Festival Concert to conclude the magical evening.
This holiday-themed event offers more than just a chance to get ahead on your holiday shopping. Enjoy an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and refreshments offered up by merchant as you browse through the shops; feast your eyes on the twinkling lights covering the windows and cascading down the awnings; and become transfixed with the sound of carolers and quartets filling the air with holiday cheer.
Free carriage rides will be available throughout the night, creating the perfect setting for a romantic night or a memorable experience the whole family can enjoy. The elaborate window displays lining the streets are always a popular attraction for the little ones, as they will be decked out with holiday decorations, lights and real live dancers from Class Act Dance Studio posing as characters from your children’s beloved tales.
From the clip-clapping of hoarse drawn carriages to the sparkling lights and decorations lining the sidewalks, the Elegant Holiday Evening Downtown is the perfect way to welcome the magic of the holiday season in Paso Robles.
