December 6, 2014 @ 7 p.m.
Get into the spirit of the holidays at the traditional Christmas Light Parade in downtown Paso Robles. The weather may be a bit warmer in California Wine Country, but you can still experience the sights and scenes of the winter season. Local businesses showcase spectacular lights in a parade that takes place all along the perimeter of City Park. The most dazzling displays will win a variety of awards as standouts for best in show. Sip on a cup of hot chocolate or coffee to stay warm while you watch and pick your own favorites.
Let the little ones get a glimpse of Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will take time out of their busy schedules to make a very special appearance. This beloved local tradition celebrates Jolly Old St. Nick’s arrival at the Holiday House, where he'll set up shop until Christmas Eve. The Snow Queen and King will also be onsite to greet parade goers. Until 9 p.m., the vibrant downtown will be buzzing with Christmas cheer and celebrations. The kids will enjoy a magical evening as the festive floats pass along in the procession.
This special Saturday event will be set to the theme "Celebrating 125 Years in Downtown". The city’s rich historical roots will also take center stage during the spectacular Grand Finale fireworks show on New Year’s Eve.
